Oh, this ‘getting back into tape’ thing is becoming a bit addictive… I picked up a DRM-550 for free yesterday! Wasn’t expecting much, it was covered in dust but all the lights came on according to the guy who was dumping it. Still, I’ve got approx 117 spare belts now, so thought it was worth a shot… Imagine my disappointment when there appears to be nothing wrong with it at all. The case was even dirtier than I thought, but internally it was pretty clean. Everything works, I just need to get my head around the delights of HX-Pro and the ability to do fine bias adjusts Oh, and possibly find a remote controller…
