I was on the north side of town and had a little time so I stopped in at our local record shop, one of my favorites that I've posted some stereo accessories and tapes I've gotten from in the past. It was a little early and I was bummed they were closed but I spied one of the employees and he opened up early just to let me do a quick browse (awesome service). He let me know they have a new location that is more for equipment and it was on my way. Just opened a few days ago, this place is awesome. Not too large but lots of cool stuff, I left with a cart full of equipment including these two players, a Panasonic RS-J3 and a Fisher PH-15 (I just posted one in the hot buys section, very weird). There was a few boomboxes but they would have been doubles for me. Go Johnny Go http://gojohnnygo.com/wordpress/ might be known more for vintage records and tapes, legend is that they have two huge warehouses of any album you can think of and an interesting collection of equipment. They've got a few locations, it might be worth checking out all of them if your a record or tape hunter or ask, their prices are very reasonable. I'll post some more of the equipment when I get a chance, the Marantz PMDs are mine but I got some other cool stuff you guys might like, I got the tech to sign up for an account, hopefully he'll be checking out the forum.
