    Hi
Im Ray from Dublin. Ireland and Ive spent enough time on this forum so I had to sign up. Im into music. hifi and basic repairing of old cassette decks and other hifi gear I take a chance on at auction or on the bay. I collect some cassettes but my main collection is on CD Jazz. Electronica mainly with some Dylan and Zappa thrown in for balance.
Ive bought some vintage cassettes on ebay last week BASF Chrome Maxima II and using the recording guides on the forums im going to attempt to record from FLAC to cassette!

Great site folks keep up the good work.

    Welcome to S2G Reamonnt
Its fun to record from FLAC to cassette. What type of DAC and recorder are you going to use?

    Hi.
Im going to use a cheap Behringer UCA202 DAC or I could take my ODAC from another system and Im going to hook it to my laptop and record from JRiver playlist to my Technics RS-T330R tape deck. Does that sound achievable?

it is achievable for sure but if your source files are FLAC then use your better DAC to get better quality recording.
