Hi; I recently acquired just the Walkman portion of the WM-600. See picture below. I am trying to find the headphone remote as it controls all the functions for the Walkman other than the the play, pause, ff and rew . It appears to be like the WM-678 in the Techmoans video (at about 16-minute mark) What is the model number for the headphone remote? What might be the best way to locate one? Hi kausbose, and welcome to the forum! When I was looking for a remote for one of my Aiwa's, I set a reminder on Ebay so it notifies you if that model is listed. If you don't know the model you can usually download the walkmans manual which would list the model number of the remote within it. As well as setting a reminder on Ebay I also went onto other countries Ebay versions and quite quickly found one for sale in Canada. The item was not listed for Worldwide sale so it didn't show up on my UK account but when I emailed the seller they were happy to post it to me.

I went searching for the manual and got this on the Sony Asia site. http://www.sony-asia.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/3868/38682611M.pdf Unfortunately, it’s not a big help because it doesn’t list the headphone remote model number. All the other manuals I found were similar, they don’t like the remote number.
WM-600 and EX-600 are 2 different walkmans WM-ex600 WM-600 and the controllers are also different but might work for the other one (but i am not sure ).
