Hello from the Netherlands

    Recently I decided to become part of the next analog vintage hype: tape...

    While reviving my cassette gear (Nakamichi RX-303 working in full swing) and going through my 'doubtful stuff' box in the attic I found my DD-33 and Nak TD700 as I left them: wondering if they would ever work properly again.

    And here I am, found Stereo2Go with some awesome resources on cassette based gear. I hope to learn a lot and maybe contribute a bit as wel :)

    As soon as I saw Netherlands I expected to see a mention of Philips.
    We do actually have a few Philips enthusiasts on the site.

    My DD-33 is clicking and I left the TD700 in a disassembled state.... Quite a bit of work to be done here. Pictures will certainly follow!

    I have to make a confession here: just a few weeks after registering on this forum and reading about other members experiences I now officially hooked :biggrin:

    Or should I say infected with the Walkman virus?

    I'm now the proud owner of a:
    - D6C in perfect condition
    - a DD33 in working but clicking condition
    - a DD33 with bad output plug, clicking and blocked FF and REW buttons
    - a red DDII in clicking and bad-output-connection condition

    Today decided to start working on the worst one first (I can't possibly damage more ;):
