Hi there everyone Huge walkman fan here but just started to get more nerdy with it and just got the courage to start opening a couple up to fix, this has partly occurred due to more at home time during covid. This is all for fun really but I use a walkman in real-life plus I commonly make mixtapes for people often sending them a cheap machine if they don't have one to play it on. Its my way to get some broken ones back up and running to spare them the rubbish bin and also to get people using them and realizing how much better they are (in my opinion). I've come here to see whats going on but mainly to ask for help and guidance on certain matters. Looking forward to getting to know more about walkmans specifically but also other systems including minidiscs. My brother is sending me a few walkmans from back home my way (I have a few old ones in the UK where I'm from and shipping them to me here in NYC). So no doubt I'll be getting them fixed with a bit of luck maybe with a bit of help from here.
