Just wanted to introduce myself and say thanks to an absolutely great forum. As a cassette user since the early eighties (when they definitely weren't so vintage!) it's great to read such a variety of information of interest and the abilities you guys have to repair these units. You all must of been watch makers in a previous life!!! I'll keep reading with much enjoyment and post where I can. Thanks. Lee
A few small screwdrivers and a can of beer and you too can be a pro. Yah some of the pros on here are really good and have a ton more patience then me. I was just working on a huge JVC TT and it takes an hour just to get the million screws out of the bottom. I still didn't fix all of it but I'm older and wiser to know that you should zipper it all back up so you don't lose anything, fun times!
