Hmmm ... I tried to log onto the Stereo2Go website less than an hour earlier today (before 10:00 AM ET). I couldn't, strangely enough, despite repeated tries. I finally logged on here only after a simple Google search for "Stereo2Go."

Seems that the URL for this engaging website has gone from Stereo2Go.com (the cyberspace address where I first signed up in 2008) to Stereo2Go.org (sometime in late 2016, if I remember correctly) back to Stereo2Go.com as of October 31, 2017 (or a day or two earlier). The old Stereo2Go.org seems to now be some dark-background screen of links related to electronics retailers or whatever. (Off you go to Best Buy, to Crutchfield, to Target ...)

So, uh ... the URL stays as Stereo2Go.com, right?

    Any update on this?!

I just signed up and on the initial welcome email form the admin, the links go to the .org site.
I was able to log in here so that worked.

I'm am just a little concerned though, gonna be cautious.
It all seems shady, suggests the site may have been taken over?

as far as i remember during the transition time to new forum we used .org site and once the upgrade/ transition completed the .com URL established again. So we should only use stereo2go.COM only

Yes the site was taken over by The Walkman Archive then moved to a new platform after the previous owners decided they could no longer afford to pay the fees for the Hoopla hosted platform. As Easthelp's post at the beginning of this thread shows this all happened about a year ago.

Thanks to the efforts of Michelle Knight the original database was migrated here so in most cases Google searches will direct you to the old posts.
