Time for it to find a new home... Marantz PMD430 3 head stereo field recorder. Bias fine adjust, Dolby B, DBX, Type I, CrO2, metal, analog VU meters, etc., etc. I purchased this one as a non-working unit. I disassembled it to find the belt was off track. I replaced the existing belt and it works. I'm sure the belts should be replaced and I'm sure the mechanism could use a good cleaning and lube, etc. The best part about the Marantz field recorders is that parts are still available from SuperScope (belts, power supply, etc.). All I have is the recorder and the cover...no carry-strap or power supply. I've always wanted one, but honestly have no use for it...it should belong to someone who will appreciate it and use it. These are listed for silly money on eBay. $175
