    Finally! I found an ad for the Olympus SR-11 from November 1982 Rolling Stone Magazine. I wonder how branding worked with the Road Runner, some units had it, some didn't. Some members might not know but Road Runner was also used by Plymouth Cars until around 1980.

    They started out expensive but within a year they were more than 1/2 price. They were in a lot of those big ad that only had pricing and the warehouses were in the big cities on the coast.

    Those oddball systems, there was no way of telling if you were getting something cool or not. I wonder what the two little units did?

    That's why they offered seven in this line.. :) To go thorough all of them..
    I guess one might have been a timer unit, another one - hmm..
    Can't it be a remote control receiver?
