recommendation on a specific battery charger

    I have a Denon " DMP-R70" minidisc player which requires this weird battery:

    I found this battery on several sites but unfortunately cannot find a charger any where
    Do you know what battery charger I can get to charge this battery?

    Welcome to the world of minidisc, I just got that big ole Denon Component to go with my mini Denon Unit a few months ago.

    The Denon DMP-R70 is a AKA Sharp MD-MS 100, you might have already seen this but they have problems with US Voltage so use that 100v Japanese Wall Wart. This article describes the charging problems and how to fix it. I think they are just using wall power to charge it through the AC jack.

    This battery is rechargeable so i am sure there should be a charger for it.
    Thanks for the link. I will do more research to see if i can find a solution

    From the voltage I would guess it is Lithium Ion. There are lots of universal chargers available for these. I have a Tronic one from Lidl which claims it will even set the Polarity automatically, although so far I have only used theNiMH facilities.

    This is the one I have



    the Lithium Ion charging contacts are both on one side so aimed at Mobile Phone or Camera batteries, although the bloke in the video gets around that with some croc clips.

    For the battery you show I guess something like this

    from a brand which hopefully doesn't live up to its name, would be more suitable.

    p.s. I haven't tried any of these on the type of battery you show.
