Sorry to ask one more stupid question (like in many of my posts) :ohno2::
Is there an easy and simple way to replace the pinch roller without disassembling the whole pinch roller assy?

Normally it is quite simple to change the pinch roller when the complete assy is unmounted.
But there are several walkman models where it is difficult (or at least it takes a lot of time) to unmount the pinch roller assy and then an unhealthy amount of force is needed to move out the shaft of the pinch roller in order to replace the roller.

Thank you for any hint to get the replacement in a smoother way than I usually do.

For some walkmans with the heads mounted on the door hinge (those slim walkmans), the rollers can be changed without removing anything but the door cover. There is enough clearance to push the roller shaft completely off. This is also possible with the WM-2, if I recall correctly.
