I would like to concentrate on Sony walkman devices, therefore I would like to propose couple of items from my collection for sale: sanyo m-g2 and fisher ph33.
I would like those to go to a fan, who appreciates the beauty and quality of proposed players.

Fisher PH33 and Sanyo m-g2 radio cassette walkman come from around 1984. Fisher were a European brand which sold consumer electronics under license from other manufacturers. The PH33 was based on the Sanyo M-G2 and it was identical in every way but for the name. I love the design of this unit, it looks like the radio section has been glued onto the side of the walkman. The unit itself is quite small, about the size of a Sony WM-2 but with the radio bit joined on the side. The cassette section has some interesting features including a 'pitch' control which changes the playback speed. You've also got left/right balance plus two headphone sockets. The radio is a standard stereo AM/FM afair with a great big proper tuning knob. Like the WM-2 the plastic belt clip plays an integral part in the design and incorporates a cool 'door lock' device. Included is a battery case that accepts 2 x DD batteries for extra back-up (unit itself runs from 2 x AA's). No headphones though.

    Condition
Both devices are not new and do show very mild signs of wear but they have been looked after over the years. The battery case has never been used. Functionally everything works as it should. Tape sounds superb with a good constant playback speed. Radio too sounds great on both channels. Changed belts for sanyo.

Please let me know, whether this is something that you would be interested to have in your collection. I will seriously consider all your proposals.

Those are nice and the I've never seen the Fisher Version. Fisher was an American Company that made some really nice tube equipment in the 50s-60s but fell on hard times and was bought by Sanyo around 1978. After that they were mostly known in the US for really crappy all-in-one stereos that every girl owned. Oddly some of the equipment with tape decks was very nice, I've got a handful of Fisher Tape Players and can display them now without the 80's Fisher Stigma. It's really cool when you have both versions but the Fisher Versions are the hardest to find. There's no reason for the dual branding, the only reason I can think of is so retailers weren't "price matching" with other stores in town.

The main and possibly first Fisher product I remember seeing in the UK was VHS VCRs. At the time Sanyo were still promoting Betamax so it would have looked a bit strange if they had suddenly released a VHS VCR. Selling them under the Fisher name didn't have that issue.
