The old magazines are pretty cool, Esquire is a really neat slice of history, the stories and ads are priceless, I have to stay focused and not grab the cars or home stereo equipment ads, but they really make you want to get a nice sports car and then relax cranking your awesome stereo stack. The electronics magazines are interesting, we used to have a store, right next to one of the coolest hobby stores (trains, planes, Corgi's etc) that stocked electronic parts and boxes. Even as little kids we loved looking at all of the cool switches, lights and boxes you could make into just about anything. This ad is also interesting, from 1997 and it has a web address on the top, I remember seeing very early websites, on Netscape, around 94. Then a few more in 96, then a ton in 98 so these guys jumped in right away.
