I know, it's not a walkman, it's a recorder and it's mono ... but it's from 1986 and it looks nice. It's a sort of deluxe version of the TCM-6 with silver buttons, flat mic in the door lid and overall more pricey look, but underneath is identical to the TCM-6 with its WM-22 derived tape transport. I have already dealt with such transport in the past but I'm still here with mostly the same problem: the FF/REW clutch broke and while trying to fixing it it exploded and ejected pieces across my room. I managed to find almost all of them but the white spindle holding the compressed spring got lost and it is nowhere to be found. At the moment I have temporary glued the upper gear to the shaft with hot glue and FF/REW work file albeit with too much torque: I have to quickly press stop before the end of the tape or it would very likely brake. Does anyone know if a 3D printed replacement is somehow available ?
