Hello everybody, I am new to this forum but I picked up a pretty nice Sony TCS-300, the fast forward and rewind buttons were not working but I got that repaired, so mechanically it's working now, but the only problem that it has now is that there is no sound coming out of the speaker, I do get sound from the headphone sockets, after a while I saw that there was a loose purple wire that probably broke at a certain point, so maybe this is the sound problem? I was wondering if someone else has a TCS-300 and if they could maybe post some high quality pictures of the circuit board, here is a picture of the wire I am talking about: So the wire is connected to one point on the board but the other end is not connected, Anyway thanks for all the tips and thoughts!
Hello, you will have to open the side that has the microphones, this purple wire goes close to the tone dial.
