Hello, I find my microcassette walkman gives off quite a warble to the music and the sound is uneven when playing. I think this might be an incorrect belt size, but I am unable to find the correct size listed anywhere. Ive checked help sites, and even the service manual, but only part number 3-303-963-11 is listed, not counting the size. Does anyone have any advice on how to find the size or where to get one? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
I'd try Fix Your Audio on the front page of the forum, the M-50 is super rare and most of the stereo microcassette units have very little documentation. With the Sony M-1000, once the back cover is off it's pretty easy to change the belt, I have a few hundred belts, I just found one that fit and it works fine.
