Hi, I am working on a WM-10 - I have fixed a few of these (or variants of them), but this one is giving me some unique problems. There was some battery leakage that didn't appear to go too far, but a very small amount had destroyed a ground trace. Not a big deal, I patched past it, and got the power working. During troubleshooting, I also removed and re-soldered all the electrolytic caps, and the DC converter board.

Now, the main problem is that it plays very fast. It sounds to be about double speed. The speed adjustment pot doesn't appear to do anything to fix this. I am somewhat electrically inclined, but the electrical schematics for the Servo A Board and Servo B Board are a lot for me to try to wrap my head around.

Has anyone had this issue in the past? I have had this issue with the WM-D6, which was fixed by replacing a capacitor and a transistor on a potted daughter board. This appears to be something very different.

Edit: a possible clue - it takes about 1 to 2 seconds between pressing down the play button and the motor moving (and moving FAST right away, not a slow ramp up). I thought this was odd, because my other WM-10 variants start playing right away.
