Hi, I'm servicing my WM-D6C, replacing all the rubber parts as obtained from Marian, On reassembling the flywheel, I notice that the two washeers that are supposed to sit beneath the flywheel is missing. These are items 322 and 364 in the service manual, part nos 3-305-925-00 and 3-701-437-01. I have a very late unit (serial no 521102) so the service manual and videos online differ a bit from mine in construction. I'm missing the retaining ring (E Clip?) on the black midway pulley for instance. Instead there's a split plastic washer doing the job. I find it hard to believe that I have dropped these washers while disassembling as I've cleaned my desk and carefully put all items directly to the side on a white sheet of paper. On testing, there is no problem with the sound of the unit, nor scraping sounds from the mechanism. I've carefully inspected the inside of the unit to look for the two washers. Does anybody know whether these parts were omitted from the later, simplified versions of the Walkman? And if I should have them, where can I get them?
