My Sony WMAF56 Walkman with 5 band equalizer is not working. Drive belt is broken and I'm ordering new ones to replace the old belt. The AM/FM radio is not working as well. I'm wanting to do the repairs myself so any suggestions or advice. Thank you very much!!
I don't do a lot of internal work but once you open it look for the easy stuff, broken wires or circuit boards, switches that need deoxit, or cracked solder connections. It looks like a mid-level model so there's probably not a lot of information on fixing it around. Take some photos and post them in the Tech Thread when you open it up.
