A walkman that I'm trying to fix has a belt that's too stretched out. I've looked at Amazon but I'm not sure which ones to trust. Any advice where I could get a pack of various sized belts for a reasonable price (ideally not more than 15 dollars), would be great. Thanks.
For now you can get a pack of 30 for $8.22 On amazon ( I used to buy these packs for a dollar but sellers raised the price ! https://www.amazon.com/40-135mm-Cassette-Recorder-Machines-Drive(50/dp/B08D3LCTTM/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=walkman+belt&qid=1601485698&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEyR0FTVjVORENHT1U2JmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNzgwMTIzMjhZWkJIOUdYNE9IMiZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNTY1MzQ1Mlg1TlhLWkRIWlhFSiZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU= You can also try Alibaba for cheaper price, I guess one member had good experience with Alibaba but personally I didn't have good experience with Alibaba https://www.alibaba.com/product-det...offerlist.normal_offer.d_image.b0187901T3KP10 The most reliable source for belts belong to the following two links: https://fixyouraudio.com/ (Very reliable any my first choice) http://marrscommunications.com/sony-custom-walkman-and-discman-belts
I've used these guys moose and everything went smooth. https://www.turntableneedles.com I've got my own inventory of NOS belts I bought a few years ago but every once in a while I need a rare size, this site has a good sizing program when you plug in your player. Our site sponser has a great reputation www.fixyouraudio.com If you want to get more into the "hobby" I'd probably get a sack of belts, for most players it can be pretty easy to change and if the belts are low quality, not big deal, just put another on but you'll get sick of that after awhile. Some players require de-soldering wires and might take a few hours to complete a belt change, I wouldn't mess around and I'd order quality belts from a good supplier.
