SY-8801 "Beautiful Radio" is about $20 on e-bay. After 4 months I sent for another "spare". It is a good little radio. 4AA runs it for about 5 weeks of daily 3 to 4 hours use. AA cells are deeply depleted to about 1.0v prior to failure Good sound from speaker. Strong backlight. Very good battery run time. Can accept 5v USB power too. Has 20 memory presets to store frequencies if you want. Volume control is a large knob on the side. With headphone the FM output is stereo.
Nice to see a new PLL radio, as lately most of the new ones are DSP which all have the problem of ghost stations due to lack of any pre-selection filters.
