The discman which can burn CDs and play DVDs via USB.

I have noticed that when a new expensive technology comes out like DVD someone releases an expensive Jack of All Trades unit to support it and many other functions. When computers started being fitted with DVD drives as standard units like this were no longer needed especially at $299.

Looks like the last nail in the coffin of decent (well, half-decent) 1st-2nd generation Discmans. MP3 rules!!!
