My eldest daughter is off to University soon, & didn't want to take the JVC PC-V2 that has been her bedroom system for ages - it's too big & she says the sound 'carries' too much for the paper-thin walls in the halls of residence. To be fair, the hyper-bass does go right through to the floor below in our 19th century, solidly built house.
Anyway, with retro apparently being all the go with students, she had a browse through my collection. Requirements: small, retro-cool, good sound & aux-in (for her Bluetooth adapter). She settled on my Sony-ZX-7, which needed a wipe but worked faultlessly at 30+ years old & after a recent few years storage. I've given her chapter & verse about looking after it. What have I done!?!
...ooh, I spoil my kids! :)

Nice choice. At one point my daughter had four of my radios at uni some of which she lent out to friends. I gave a kaboom to her friend as birthday present too. I think this goes beyond spoiling her to the depths of insanity

My youngest son has a JVC RV-DP200 in his room now. There are few Bluetooth speakers at any price that can compete with it's prodigious output :)
