    Hello there,

I was wondering if there is an easy way to replace the battery coils on a TPS-L2, since one was broken off on mine when I acquired it. Could I replace it with the entire back plate of a TCM-100B for example?

    Thanks![GALLERY=media, 2051]TPS-L2 Battery Coil Broken by CrazyGentleman posted Oct 25, 2023 at 9:55 PM[/GALLERY]

As it was already pointed out in the "Introducing myself" thread, these battery springs are pretty generic in practice.
You can definetely take the springs from a TCM-100B, but I would only do that if the unit is in bad condition.
Ohterwise, I would use something like this: https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/keystone-electronics/240/8627058 and bend the end to suit this particular application.

Also as a sidenote, you don't need to upload the pictures to the media library to attach to a thread.
You can use the "Upload a File" button if you intend to have the pic only in the thread (don't know what you intended in this case).
Sometimes the interface does not show the uploaded pic, but it will appear after posting the message.
