    Hi
I was wondering if anyone with some experience can help.... I got a TPS-L2 which seems to play very wierdly! I have replaced the belts but the machine plays very erraticly every time. Sometimes it plays for a few seconds then stops, sometimes it plays double time them stops, sometimes it plays double time and does not stop, sometimes it plays extra slow and stops, every now and again it actually plays properly!!!!!! The weird thing is it also stops after one or two seconds when you ff or rev.

I am presuming it is down to a bad connection somewhere rather than the motor? Any ideas where to start looking rather than just randomly stripping the machine apart?

    Thanks

I'm having sort of a similar problem with my TPS-L2. The belts have been replaced, but when I press play I can see that the main drive gear is not moving like it should be. It moves very slowly or not at all. But in FW and REV I can see the gear moving just fine. But when I press play again the gear doesn't move. I don't know what to do about this since I just got the TPS-L2 today and don't have much experience with this unit. Anyone willing to help would be greatly appreciated! :)

Be sure the belts have been installed correctly. There is a certain way the belt loops over the motor pulley. If you are able to, take a good photo with the cover off showing the mechanism and post it here.
