Anyone heard of this place? I enjoy watching the videos, even though I can't understand Russian https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_td5Z5FfoItGUbPzT-qbcA/featured One thing, though. I have seen glimpses of what I think is some small rack system that I've love to know the brand/model/etc. It's located just to the left of the door that's in the middle of the back of the store, on the bottom of the glassed cupboards. I wish I could get a screenshot, but I can't find it again...just from memory. It reminds me a bit of the old Aiwa mini-compo systems, but I think there's a nice-looking graphic equaliser - lots of sliders anyway...but not 100%. I'll keep trying to see if I can find a screenshot. Any ideas what that is?
Here we are - pause this video and it's on the top right of the picture: Here it is (or they, since there could be 3 of them?), but blurry:
Very nice, I need to visit this place when I am in Moscow next time. Thank you David. btw. there is also a museum of old soviet arcade machines from the 80s in Moscow - and the best thing you can play with them. Highly recommended if you are interested into computers of this time. They have much more than presented on their website. http://15kop.ru/en/
Can you give the time they show up? The little ones at the begining are Sony FH, I think...the one on the left might be Technics but I doubt it, I'd guess Sony FH. The one in the middle of the video with the red looks like a Hitachi L0-D Microsystem with the case.
I love this guy, I don't care how much he charges, his shop is so nice! Where does the packing come from, is that Buyee or one of the other Japanese Exporters?
That was probably the best unboxing video I have ever watched. The first three Boomboxes looked like new but his luck ran out on the fourth and especially the mini with the broken back. It seems obvious that all the boxes were packed by the same person, (in a very professional manner) so yes my guess would be one of the Japanese shipping agents. I have been looking at Buyee again recently and there are still items where the price in Japan is a fraction of the price in Europe or even from Ebay sellers in Japan.
We've got a few Japanese Sellers showing up on Ebay USA, really cool stuff, just slighty different than international releases but the shipping is always $140 USD, about the same price as the boxes they're selling.
And their photography is horrible, probably deliberately in order to prevent people from seeing the saltwater corrosion that is so common on Japanese stuff
