When did the TPS-L2 come out in the UK?

I know the Sony TPS-L2 came out in 1980 in the UK but does anyone know what month? Thanks in advance!

 

I have a receipt for mine dated the 5th August

 

Went on sale in Japan in July 1979 and a few weeks later for the rest of the world.

 

I was under the impression it first went on sale in the UK in 1980

 

Thanks guys for the responses! I was also under the impression it didn't go on sale in the UK till 1980? Just the logistics alone must have taken a few months? Funnily like Chris I have one with a receipt for July 1980 which is what prompted my original question. I'd be interested if any members can pin the date down more.
