Hi, I make music and I have a wm d6c. I want to use it to record analog synths, but the rew ff doesn't work on it. I've taken it apart and lubricated the idler wheel arm, but it still doesn't move. Anyway that's why I'm here. I need some help fixing it.
Have you looked at the belt? Sometimes the units have been sitting a long time and you need to get the motor shaft spinning again, once it breaks free, it should run fine. Other than that it could be a bunch of different issues, you'll need to go through one at a time until it's working.
