Hello, I was on the old site as Dinosaur. I haven't posted on here for a while although I am a S2G supporter. Recently, I purchased a Yamaha YSU-3 switching unit. Never seen one before but it was exactly what I was looking for to connect all my various gear whilst my garage is being converted. Not sure if anyone knows of this item but believe me, the amount of units you can connect is truly remarkable!
Welcome again, Dinosaur! I didn't know these units, but upon seeing a photo now, I'm not sure I'd like it. It seems it just switch between several decks, but have no features to easy record between them or to several of them. And I find it very useful when you want to record from tape to tape. Anyway, the amount of devices that can be connected is huge
Hi there! I always used to see units like these in HI-Fi shops many years ago but had no idea on where one could be sourced. To have the ability to connect so many devises and switch between them makes this ideal for my needs. Well, that's the plan...................!
