Thats something that hasent been addressed much. But most boombox speakers have magnetic sheilding to reduce this. one is around the magnet...

Many nylon parts with spring tension on them will break. No glue seems to work on nylon. If theres extra space you could fix it what does it look...

Its an adapter to phono not a phono preamp. This is the reverse of the "phono preamp" so no battery or power is required.
