I'm not sure. I suspect probably about $600, considering that the M70 was usually around $400, judging by the sales receipts I've seen.

Hitachis don't get much love from "collectors", but this one had more features than a JVC M90!
That magazine is awesome.
Yes, they can sound very good when they're still relatively new......But they go bad 20+ years later if they're left inside hot cars or humid...

The 9696 has more power and better bass than the 9494. It uses the same amplifiers that the 777 does!
Very nice, the deck keys are much better than the ones on the RT-8890.
