    Here's a neat deck, I'm not sure what's going on but that looks like an FM transmitter on the top right which probably broadcasts to the radio only headphones. The box on the left looks like it's for the IR remote, anybody know? Both components are very expensive, I wonder if this was meant for headphone listening?

    HiFi must have been big business in 1977. All these ads are from the same magazine whose editorial included article on Star Wars and various young ladies having wardrobe malfunctions

    Motorway Services, Nightclubs, Cinemas and
    distributed the James Bond films

    Finally, towards the back an adverts for the type of system most people ended up buying in 1977 as it would have been a sensible price.

    I think it was smart business to have components, HiFi was so expensive that most people couldn't afford a full stack but they could afford the individual parts. I feel like in the 70's, it wasn't important to have the same brand but to have the best of different brands. Then the 80's came and a common brand stack seemed more popular, at least at the mid-level.

    Clarion from 1977, outside of car stereos, they were pretty rare over here, I think it says the 1st dual well in Berlin?
