A cool toy over on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/NEWABWN-Head...instream/dp/B0CGTWJJGC/ref=asc_df_B0CGTWJJGC?
NOTE: None of the below listings are mine at all. They're listings on sites I regularly check. With Tori.fi specifically I recommend you NEVER use a translator! TRUST ME! If you write to someone, speak plain English and explain immediately that you found the listing from a "Walkman enthusiast" board. Otherwise you risk getting blocked as a spammer immediately, not only by the seller but by Tori's automated system. I also highly recommend you use PayPal, take the buyer protection and if necessary offer the seller a little bit more so they don't lose out on the buyer protection. Remember also the cost of postage and insurance if you want that. --------------------------------------- Really nice condition looking black WM-DD3 for only €280: https://www.tori.fi/recommerce/forsale/item/8449433? Also has been cleaned and had the centre gear fixed and comes with the official case and plastic window isn't damaged. Not sure about battery bay door, but it's likely still there. Haven't seen one that cheap for a pretty long time. They're all usually starting at €400 or more. P.S. It's not mine. I likely wouldn't sell one this cheaply.
Here's also a great condition WM-DD33 for mega bargain at €130: https://www.tori.fi/recommerce/forsale/item/4082613? It does have the gear click though but that's a simple fix.
Here's a great cond WM-D6C for pretty good price too. I had one about 6 years ago around this price. They're all going for at least double this now: https://www.tori.fi/recommerce/forsale/item/8292738? It seems to have slight problem with the headphone jack. So the jack itself might need a resolder/replacement. The plug has to be in the exact right position for left and right channel to be heard. Otherwise it's very clean and comes with its case and manual too. The seller said he'd accept "reasonable" offers under €400.
Here is a cheap fun item people in the U.K. should be able to get for less than the price of a coffee. I was in T.K. Maxx (the same company as T.J. Maxx in the U.S.A) and spotted these bags for £1.29 each by the till. I reckon the image of the cassettes started out as a photo of real cassettes and has then been turned into pop art in an Andy Warhol style. The hand written titles have been added later. The cassette second row up second column from left looks to be pre-recorded one but the text isn't clear enough to read the title. The cassettes are almost life size. That is a real cassette at the top to give a sense of scale.
Yea I love this Crown STP-80F, it says 1962 but it look a tiny bit newer. https://www.ebay.com/itm/296473031959?
And lastly this beauty! The Crown TRP-126, it's hard to tell how big this is but I'm guessing 4" across judging from the 45 adapter on the back. https://www.ebay.com/itm/403682454278?
Only one bid for the STP-80F, hopefully somebody on here got it and will post more photos, what a great looking unit!
The real James Bond Boombox, the Toshiba SG-22S, there is another one with free shipping, as always with Japan Listings, check for multiple listings and different pricing for the same item. https://www.ebay.com/itm/204784466447? This version is the GP-23S, not sure what the difference is.
I got the Some Girls Version, it's freakin awesome, there's ties and grommet holes on the top for mounting. There's no way these are licensed (I think) at this price so buy at your own risk. I was thinking of doing a few customs, I wish they were a little cheaper but he does prints based on your design. But yes, highly recommeded!
Cheaper is always good but I didn't think the price was too bad (apart from shipping to Australia). Is it a clear print?
